Blaumacher is a black-humored German television series, which represents a highly suicidal duo - a husband, entrepreneur and family man in their mid-forties Frank Sporbert (Marc Ben Puch) and a half as old high school graduate Sascha (Laura Berlin).

"The summer of my life" so the working title of the series was filmed in Berlin in 2016. The first broadcast ran from 07.07.2017 on ZDF neo and later also on Netflix.

Plot: For Frank Sporbert, husband, father and successful medium-sized businessman, everything seems to be going perfectly: however, the immaculate façade, including a modern single-family house and a climate-neutral car, has cracks. His wife Carmen has been having an affair with her fitness trainer for some time, and for his children Max and Becky he is merely a kind of cash machine. Even in his company, Frank seems insignificant. His employees make important deals themselves, and his absence is not even noticed. Frank feels empty and without perspective.

Then his neighbour's daughter Sascha Decker shows up at his door. Barely half Frank's age, she feels just as empty and lost as he does.
